Vi (Vodafone Idea) has added Apple iPhones to its voice over Wi-Fi calling service. Wi-Fi calling was already available on a limited number of Android smartphones, and now it's coming to iPhones as well. iPhones running iOS14.5 will be able to use the Wi-Fi calling service to make and receive voice calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of using their cellular data plan.
HERE'S HOW TO ENABLE VI WIFI CALLING ON YOUR IPHONE (IPHONE 6S OR ABOVE):
- IN ORDER TO GET THE FEATURE WORKING, THE USERS SHOULD HAVE A WORKING WI-FI, SUPPORTED HANDSET, AND AN ACTIVE 4G SIM CARD
- UPGRADE YOUR IPHONE OS TO THE LATEST VERSION
- GO TO SETTINGS > PHONE > AND ENABLE WIFI-CALLING
