As per the official statement, Krafton will launch the new game soon. It will be available only to Indian users and will have a specific pre-registration . Pre registration Date is 18th May 2021 it's Confirmed by KRAFTON developers.

Developed by Krafton, the long-awaited pre-registrations for the game will go live on 18th May.
There will be specific rewards available for fans to claim, only if they pre-register the game. These rewards would be specific to Indian players only.
To pre-register for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, please visit the Google Play Store and click on the “Pre-Register” button, and your rewards will automatically be available to claim on game launch.

PUBG Battlegrounds Mobile India: What is new?
At first look, the game seems to carry the same mechanics from PUBG Mobile. However, the publisher claims that it will release exclusive content, outfits and other things to cater India’s esports ecosystem.
“KRAFTON will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later,” it added.

The game publisher has been busy making arrangements to maximize data security for its players and adhere to the local regulations. All this to avoid any possibility of getting banned in the future as the game has also been accused of being explicit & violent for young minds.
The company has now updated its terms & conditions that includes the players to provide the phone numbers of their parents. Additionally, for players under 18 years of age, they will only be allowed to play the game for a maximum of 3 hours in a day.
